Care for the Family- “Always leave a light on”

Care for the Family-         ALWAYS LEAVE A LIGHT ON

20th September 2017 7.30 pm

Christ Church Centre

For over 25 years Care for the Family has been working throughout the UK and the Isle of Man. They provide parenting, relationship and bereavement support through events, resources, courses, training and a volunteer networks. Their work is motivated by Christian compassion, and their resources and support are available to everyone, of any faith or none.

We are delighted to partner with Care for the family by hosting an evening entitled:-

Always leave a light on explores the pain many parents and families have experienced when a prodigal walks away from faith.  Discover how we can stem the tide, avoid some pitfalls that create prodigals in the first place, and cultivate a culture where churches are filled with the Father’s love.

We are sure that this evening will appeal too many, will be challenging, encouraging, affirming and equipping.  The evening is free with a retiring collection to support the work of Care for the Family. To book a place please email office@christchurchware.co.uk or call 01920487267

Church Away Day- 14th October 2017

Each year, our church hosts an away day, as opportunity to have an extended time of fellowship, worship and teaching. For October 2017, you are invited to join us in exploring our own faith journey and how our personal story might impact the lives of others around us. We are privileged to have Chris Fox coming to lead our teaching sessions, which will be accompanied by times of prayer, worship and fellowship.

As we seek to explore God’s call upon our lives, we will seek to understand our own role in ministering to others, and how the current ministries at Christ Church will draw other people closer to God. You will have an opportunity to think about your call and passions in relation to helping others to know more about God.

Please do come and join us as we grow even deeper into our understanding of how much God loves us and the impact of our lives upon others.
