Many of us recognise the centrality of prayer to the Christian life, and also know something of the great joy and pleasure of being in the Spirit. We are also sure that, collectively, our experiences of answered prayer are too numerous to count.

We know that prayer needs to underpin everything we do for the sake of the Kingdom of God, and yet it would appear there are times that we need to find ways to encourage one another to keep prayer high on our agendas. Seasons of prayer (as well as approaches and styles) come and go in the church, but we sense this could be the start of a fresh wave of prayer coming in. If it is, it would be great to have as many of the church engaging with the Spirit as possible.

We have times of corporate prayer

“Encounter”- Please do come and join us for our monthly prayer meeting where we come together to encounter the presence of God through prayer, worship and ministry time. We meet on the first Sunday of the month, in the Parish Centre from 7-8pm.

10 am on the third Monday of the month again in the Parish Centre.

Wednesday  Morning Early  Prayer meeting starting at 7 am in Church

At our 11 am service we have pray ministry available during and after the service, where one of our pray ministry team would be delighted to pray for you.

Throughout the year we also have specific prayer events such as days of prayer and fasting, prayer weeks during Holy week and other prayer times to coincide with key events in the life of the church.

The church also operates a Prayer Chain to enable urgent requests for prayers and thanks for answers to prayers to be shared with church members who have undertaken to cover the need with prayer. If you have something that you would like us to pray for or wish to join the Prayer Chain please let the Church Office know.
